If I am love, I am grief
If I am fighting, I am peace
If I am joy then I am rage
If I am freedom, I'm the cage
If I am waking, I am sleep
If I’m the fast then I’m the feast
If I am rising, I’m the fall
Letting go, to hold it all

So broken, unending, unraveling and mending
And all I know, come what may, in this moment I’m ok

I want to be light and I want to be black
I want to keep going and I want to turn back
I want to be different and I want to be the same
I want to be wild and I want to be tame
I want to be invisible and I want to be seen
I want to be a dreamer and I want to get real
I want to be life and I want to be death
I want to go under and I want to take breath
I want to be with you and I want to be alone
I want to be an island and I want to come home

So broken, unending, unraveling and mending
And all I know, time will tell, in this moment, all is well

Holding on, letting go, be the earth, be the flow
Be the shadows, be the light, be the day, be the night
Be the dawn, be the dusk, be the doubt, be the trust,
Be the mother, be the child, for the Ages, for my Own
